Each year it gives us great pleasure to welcome new families into our community. We hope the following guidelines and information help as you begin the application process.
Eligibility
Your child must be two by June 1st, 2010 in order to apply for our entry level Twos/Threes Class beginning in September of 2010.
Applications
Our 2010-2011 application will be downloadable and available here on our site after September 8th, 2009. Our deadline for all applications is Thursday, November 12th, 2009. You may also contact the school in September for an application to be mailed to you.
Open Houses
Open Houses offer an opportunity to see the facility and to hear Jean Rosenberg, Founding Director, articulate Chelsea Day School’s Mission and Program. Parents are invited to attend and may do so without having submitted an application. Reservations are required and can be made online at admissions@chelseadayschool.org.
Due to limited space we are no longer taking reservations for any of our Open House dates for the 2009-2010 school year. We will be accepting applications up until our deadline on November 12th, 2009. If you have any questions please call the school or email us at admissions@chelseadayschool.org
Lottery
We will have a lottery for the applications to be processed. Gender and age will guide the choice. Our lottery results will be mailed out to all applicants on December 9th 2009. If your application is drawn in the lottery, you will be notified of the date and time of your family meeting. Family meetings will be held in January and February 2010 in order to meet the ISAAGNY notification date for acceptance in early March. If your application is not drawn in our lottery your application fee will be returned to you.
